Within the ancient walls of our Residence, your wedding day has all the room it deserves. La Torre dei Canonici hosts a single wedding each day – no overlaps, no shared boundaries. Courtyard, hall, portico, garden and Old Mill are entirely yours, from the first toast to the final dance. Six centuries of history frame a day that will remain unique, just as you imagined.
Halls, courtyard and garden
The Residence unfolds across two facing buildings, the Old Mill, and a kept garden that opens onto the rice fields. In Lumellogno, a historic hamlet of Novara – whose Canons of the Novara Cathedral held jurisdiction in the Middle Ages – the two-storey hall, with its covered portico, welcomes up to ninety or one hundred Guests indoors and naturally extends outdoors on sunny days. Every room preserves the marks of the original dwelling – vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, windows looking out over the countryside – so that the setting of your wedding feels true, never staged. For those who prefer a more intimate aperitif, we walk down to the aperitif in the Quattrocento cellar.
- The cobbled courtyard of the 15th century – the very stones that have held footsteps for six centuries, today the setting for the civil ceremony and aperitif, up to one hundred and twenty Guests standing under the portico
- The two-storey hall – vaulted ceilings in exposed brick, internal staircase rising to the upper level, up to ninety seated Guests: the hall breathes even at full banquet, because the light comes from above and the rhythm never collapses
- The covered portico – a built-in plan B for the civil ceremony and aperitif in case of rain, with no emergency staging
- The Old Mill – once the heart of the grain milling on the bridges of Lumellogno, today an intimate setting for the bride and groom’s table: exposed beams, ancient stone, a rare quiet for those staying late into the evening
- The garden over the rice fields – the natural front of the Residence opening onto the Carnaroli fields, for ceremony portraits and private moments
A table built with you
The wedding banquet is entrusted to catering di fiducia, our trusted catering partner of many years. A kitchen that speaks the language of the territory – Carnaroli and Arborio rice from our paddy fields, herbs, produce of the Novara countryside – and that adapts to every requirement, from the most formal seated dinner to a long aperitif in the courtyard. Each menu is designed with you: no pre-set packages, only your day translated into dishes. The kitchen comes with you, by prior booking, built around your menu.

Eleven Rooms for those closest to you
A wedding day does not end at midnight. The Residence offers the eleven Rooms of the Residence, each with its own name and character, distributed across the Tower and the SPA buildings: Standard, Superior and Suite, with private bathroom, minibar, coffee machine and Wi-Fi. Parents, witnesses and the closest friends can stay overnight, sharing breakfast with you the morning after. For larger parties, the Residence can be booked in exclusive use. The morning after, a spa ritual for the bride and groom in the Residence’s wellness retreat closes the day with care.
