The Right to Erasure
Under Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), every data subject has the right to obtain from the data controller the erasure of their personal data without undue delay. This right, also known as the “right to be forgotten”, is one of the fundamental rights guaranteed by European data protection legislation.
AnFed Agri Srl, as data controller for the personal data collected through the website www.latorredeicanonici.com and in the course of operating La Torre dei Canonici farmhouse, is committed to respecting and facilitating the exercise of this right.
Which Data May Be Deleted
Upon your request, we will proceed to delete the following personal data, where held in our records:
- Personal details (name, surname, address)
- Contact information (email, telephone)
- Preferences and requests expressed during communications
- Browsing data and cookies associated with your profile
- Newsletter or promotional communication subscriptions
Limitations on Erasure
Please note that the right to erasure cannot be exercised unconditionally. In accordance with applicable legislation, we are required to retain certain data due to legal obligations, including:
- Tax and accounting obligations: data relating to transactions and invoices must be retained for a period of 10 years, pursuant to Italian tax legislation (Art. 2220 Italian Civil Code and Presidential Decree 600/1973).
- Public safety obligations: data relating to guest registration (accommodation records) must be retained as required by Art. 109 T.U.L.P.S. and related implementing provisions.
- Litigation: data necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
In such cases, we will delete any data not subject to legal retention requirements and inform you which data remains stored and for how long.
How to Exercise Your Rights
You may exercise your data protection rights by completing the form below. In addition to erasure, you may request:
- Access to data: obtain confirmation and a copy of the personal data being processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification: correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing: temporary suspension of processing in certain circumstances (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability: receipt of data in a structured, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
